Yes, since the last post about how much I wanted a Wii, we went and bought one. It's a well known fact that it's very hard to actually find Wii's in stock anywhere, so when I saw the ad in the paper for Best Buy and it said they had Wii's, well I made a phone call. The man on the phone was not so certain that they still had any, but the fact that they had gotten some in was reason enough for me to go all the way down there, in faith, to possibly come home with a new Wii.
After buying a second controller and nunchuck as well as the 2 year protection plan, I felt like i had just spent a massive amount more than I set out to spend, but it was all worth it.
The Wii comes with Wii Sports, which is really the game we wanted to play the most anyway since it's all we've ever played. I'm proud to say that after only a couple of hours of bowling, I am now at the pro level. I still have quite some improvement to make to become a professional golfer and we won't even talk about tennis. Oi! But I am starting to think that my dream of becoming a bowling hustler in the same category of one Roy Munson, may be a possibility after all. Fingers crossed!
