Settling in

Well, we've been here for over a week now, or at least I have.  We've got our Florida drivers licenses and a PO Box and I'm in my company van instead of a rental.  Things are coming along.  The house is still full of boxes (and will continue to be since we're here temporarily) but we're getting some stuff organized.  I guess you could say it's organized chaos since it's not exactly going to get any better.  Other areas still need to be worked on, but we're chipping away at it.  I think it's safe to say we're settling in pretty well.

This weekend the Verizon guy came and hooked up cable and internet, and that is a cause for celebration in and of itself.
I'm not quite into a set groove with work yet.  I've been covering things for the guys who have been doing so much in the absence of enough customer engineers in the area.  That and settling the family in has kept me busy, but it won't be long until I have my own set of sites to visit and work to do.  That requires a meeting among all of us to decided what I cover and what the rest of the guys cover.  All in due time.  Now, if I could just get Texas to stop calling me about my old sites...
